Where to begin
Where to begin
9th June 2018
After owning this domain name for nearly 12 years, I’ve finally decided I should put it some good use. Over the last few months the desire to branch out on my own by starting my own business has been getting stronger and stronger until finally, on the 16th of March 2018, I handed in my resignation. It was the most difficult and scariest leap of faith I’ve ever had to take, but in my head, it was now or never. Everything from the copious amounts of business books I’ve consumed to constant streaming of podcasts such as indie hackers everything pointed me towards this.
Now I’ve taken this path I’m sure my life is going to contain lots of ups and downs, successes and failures and highs and lows and I wanted to at the bare minimum have a diary of this journey and even better have a resource for people to come to who are going through a similar process.
Writing has never come naturally to me, at 17 years old I found out that I had dyslexia which confirms why I’ve always struggled with it. When it comes to putting pen to paper, my brain would just freeze up, and I wouldn’t have a clue where to start. By starting this blog, I’m hoping that along the way it will help improve my writing and better yet cure my fear of it.
I want this blog not just to be about my business life but personal as well detailing and thoughts, interests or struggles I may have at the time.
I’ve got high aspirations for life, and I want to improve on several areas; mindfulness, business goals, personal finance, health, fitness and probably more along the way as life unfolds.
I think that’s all for now.
